1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has hit another goal after she dropped 183 lbs and underwent weight loss surgery.
The 36-year-old typically uses a walker or wheelchair to help with her mobility but after dropping from over 700lbs to only 534lbs, she can now walk on her own again.
She was recently seen shopping in Indiana and walking independently but used her walker to get in and out of her car.
Earlier this month, Tammy enjoyed a girls’ night out with her sister Amy Slaton and their friends.
One fan commented: “Way to go Tammy!! No oxygen and walking on her own!!!”
Another wrote: “Seeing Tammy stand on her own is so heartwarming. Proud of y’all progress.”
Tammy previously shared photos of her transformation on Instagram, writing: “When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second. I’m like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that’s a huge drop.”
She continued: “I’m feeling thrilled, proud, excited – just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment.”
Earlier this year, the reality star took to TikTok and shared her new achievement to her fans, revealing she can finally sit in the front seat of a car.
In her video, she wore a bright floral top and was seen lip-syncing while dancing in the car’s front seat.
One person commented: “I was skeptical but she is doing a great job. I hope life keeps improving for her!”
Another fan said: “I was NOT expecting this. TAMMY is doing so great. She looks like she may have lost 200lbs! Keep on goig girl! I hope that Amy, Tammy, and even other loved ones struggling continue to work for their health.”
