1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has slammed TLC producers for ‘forcing drama’ at the funeral of her husband.
The reality star’s husband, Caleb Willingham, passed away at the age of 40 only months after they tied the knot.
His funeral was held in Kentucky and the private ceremony was filmed for the show.
The grieving wife has now slammed producers for making the funeral ‘depressing,’ a source has claimed.
“The filming of the funeral was “completely not natural” and things were put in there to make it seem sad when it really wasn’t that sad,” the source claims Slaton said.
The 37-year-old allegedly added: “People were having fun, but (TLC) producers) made it depressing.”
Because of the way the funeral was filmed, Slaton fears there would be rumors that her grief would make her break her diet.
But the insider said that the reality star has remained committed to her healthy lifestyle.
Photos obtained by The Sun included images of Slaton crying during the service.
It was in 2022 when she and Caleb met at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Ohio. They tied the knot at the center with 30 family members and friends, with Slaton telling PEOPLE at that time: “Our wedding day was perfect, there was so much love in the room. I literally married my best friend.”
Sadly, Caleb died only months after they got married.
The status of their relationship had been the subject of speculation as Slaton’s fans noticed that she had removed Caleb’s name from some of her social media pages.
In a tribute to her husband, Slaton said: “RIP sweet angel, you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness.”
