Fans were left shocked after Taylor Swift banned Travis Kelce from going to strip clubs after he was seen wearing a Las Vegas strip club t-shirt last year.
Months into their relationship, the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker believes that she can establish some ground rules but the NFL star is not happy with many of them.
Swift is said to be cautious about Kelce’s public image especially after he was seen drunk at the Super Bowl parade.
One of Swift’s rules bans Kelce from going to strip clubs and he was reportedly ‘fine’ with it. Another rule prohibits him from posing with female fans, which made him roll his eyes.
The Chiefs tight end seems to understand his girlfriend’s talent to keep her public image but a source revealed that it wasn’t his style.
“He has no interest in playing a calculated media game if it’s going to make him think twice about every move he makes. That’s not his style,” the source said.
In November, Kelce was seen sporting a t-shirt from a famous Las Vegas strip club after the Chiefs won against the Raiders.
He was greeted by fans who were also quick to notice what he was wearing.
Kelce’s shirt had the words ‘Crazy Horse, Las Vegas’ on it but it has been recently confirmed that the 34-year-old was not wearing it as a paid endorsement.
Swift also expects Kelce to video call her instead of just texting her.
“She didn’t overtly say it, but she secretly wants to see where he is and who he’s with. Taylor’s a good judge of character and fears that some of his buddies are red flags,” the source added, according to the Daily Mail.
The source explained that the singer was not trying to control her beau but just wanted to help him adjust to the kind of attention he has never experienced before.
