The heartbroken family of Tom Sizemore has shared heartbreaking pleas for the actor to ‘wake up’ as he remains in a coma.
The Saving Private Ryan star was rushed to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Los Angeles on February 18 after suffering a stroke at his home.
His manager, Charles Lago, said at that time via Fox News: “He is in the hospital. His family is aware of the situation and are hoping for the best. It is too early to know about (a) recovery situation as he is in critical condition under observation.”
Lago also said that it was a ‘wait and see’ situation.
Sizemore’s twin sons Jayden and Jagger have shared their heartbreak on social media, pleading with their father to wake up from his coma after suffering brain aneurysm.
Taking to Facebook, Jayden wrote: “Wake up dad. You can’t go like this. Please don’t leave me.”
He also took to Facebook and Instagram stories and said: “I’m so numb dad. Please lord tell me this is only a bad dream, give me the strength my dad would want me to carry, this was never supposed to happen.”
He added: “I’ve been thriving dad, trusting the process, embracing adversity and chasing my dreams like you always wanted for me. All you wanted was for me to have an opportunity to succeed and evolve into the best version of myself.
“We bumped heads because we’re so much alike. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you when [you] needed it most. You can’t go like this, wake up dad, please don’t leave me like this.”
The family faces a heartbreaking decision after they were told that there is ‘no further hope’ for their father.
In a statement via BBC News, Lago said: “The family is now deciding end-of-life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.point 228 |
