Travis Kelce has broken his silence and opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swift.

The NFL star previously revealed that he tried to give the Shake It Off singer a friendship bracelet with his number written on it.

In an interview on The Pat McAfee Show, he said: “I threw it out there. I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.’”

Kelce continued: “So, we’ll see what happens in the near future. Alright now.”

The footballer has not shared more details about their romance until now.

In a recent interview for the cover of WSJ’s Magazine, he opened up about his relationship with Swift and admitted: “I don’t know if I want to get into all of it now.”

He then recalled his failed attempt to meet the singer at her Eras Tour show in July.

“There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner (who said): ‘Yo! Did you know he was coming?’ I had somebody playing Cupid,” he explained.

But luck was definitely on his side as he managed to get some help to grab the Grammy-award-winning superstar’s attention.

“She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but… when she came to Arrowhead (Stadium), they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures… in front of my locker,” he shared.

Speaking about his first meeting with Swift, he revealed: “When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there.”

Kelce said that he had never dated anyone with ‘that kind of aura’ “but at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it,” he expressed.

“The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that, I better not be the one acting all strange,” he added.
