Fans were left heartbroken after Travis Kelce left Taylor Swift in Australia to return to Las Vegas as he will continue celebrating with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
The Chiefs tight end landed in Australia on Wednesday to join his girlfriend and watch her performances but TMZ reported that he is returning to Las Vegas to meet up with Patrick Mahomes and their teammates after their historic Super Bowl win.
According to the news outlet, it is claimed that the Chiefs celebrations has been planned after they won over the San Francisco 49ers.
This will be Kelce’s third trip to Las Vegas in two weeks.
Earlier this week, the 34-year-old was in Vegas to relax and play golf with his friends before flying to Australia to see Swift.
A Las Vegas DJ took to Instagram and revealed that he had been booked by the Chiefs for a Friday event but it seems Kelce will not be able to make it in time for that party was he is due to land in Vegas on Saturday morning.
On Thursday night, Kelce was seen being embraced by Swift’s fans at Accor Stadium. One video shows a smiling Kelce trading friendship bracelets with loyal fans while another clip shows him waving at Swifties.
Fans also went wild when Swift gave two nods to Kelce through her lyrics.
While performing ‘Long Live,’ she pointed her guitar to Kelce after mentioning ‘trophies.’
“We are the kings and the queens / You traded your baseball cap for a crown / When they gave us our trophies / And we held them up for our town,” she sang.
During their time together, they visited the Sydney Zoo but were slammed by animal rights organization PETA.
In a statement, PETA Foundation’s Director of Captive Animal Welfare Debbie Metzler said: “While we understand all too well the appeal of seeing Australia’s wildlife, PETA hopes that next time Taylor and Travis want to see wild animals, they’ll spend their time and money at a true sanctuary.”
