A photo of a fan’s Wednesday Addams tattoo has gone viral on social media as most people think that the image looks more like actor Samuel Jackson than actress Jenna Ortega.
The picture of the tattoo was posted on Twitter where it gained millions of likes.
“Welp, this was supposed to be Wednesday Addams but looks more like Samuel L Jackson as a kid… lol,” one person wrote.
Another said: “That’s ‘Monday morning’ Adams after a long weekend out.”
A third added: “When you get a pre-production tattoo of Wednesday Addams, after hearing Samuel L. Jackson is being considered for the lead.”
Someone else commented: “If you think about it, this might be the ultimate Black Snake Moan tribute tattoo.”
But others disagreed that the image looked like the 74-year-old actor, with one person saying: “I still don’t see how this resembles Jackson, more of like that comedian kid.”
Another user said: “If it wasn’t so sad, it would be funny.”
A third argued: “Some dude got Wednesday tatted on him. Looks more like Samuel L. Jackson daughter.”
This comes after Netflix announced that there will be a second season of Wednesday.
Showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough said in a statement: “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world.
“Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”
Netflix’s Wednesday accumulated almost 6 billion minutes of viewership during its first five days.
According to Variety, the show is expected to surpass its own streaming record once the data for the new chart becomes available as it will show the minutes during its full week of availability.
