A 60-year-old woman has opened up about her fashion style and hit back at trolls who called her inappropriate.

Roslyn Griner of Montreal, Canada, is keeping up with the latest fashion trends and loves nothing more than wearing short miniskirts and clothes that are deemed by many as too “provocative” for her age.

According to the lady, people constantly tell her that she’s dressing inappropriately and that she should wear something for people her age.

Griner, however, refuses to back down saying anyone can wear what they please because it’s “about your style not your age.”

She also insists that older people can still be sexy by living an active lifestyle and choosing to wear what they really want to wear and not what is advertised as clothes for old people.

“People say I am dressing inappropriately but it’s about your style not your age number. We become this invisible minority when we hit a certain age and are known as mothers and grandmothers,” Roslyn says.

“But you can be sexy and all these things. You don’t lose the zest for life. I want to inspire women that you don’t have to stop dressing a certain way just because you are 50 or 60.”

Showing off her appreciation for all-things-fashion, she continued: “I’m showcasing how I like to dress. I wear mini-skirts – I like my legs so I’m going to show them off.

“I love current music, it helps keeps you youthful. I love cargo pants. And sheer tops – they are having a moment. I love a mini skirt and an oversized blazer. I’ve always been a fashionista.”

While Roslyn admitted her style isn’t for everyone, she is now urging other women like her to pursue their inner feelings rather than conform to the majority.

“I didn’t come into myself until my late 30s. In my 20s I was super shy, and I didn’t feel attractive,” she added.

“I feel I’m much more confident now. As you go down the path of life you care less about everyone’s opinions.”
