A 23-year-old woman has sparked a debate after saying she will only have a baby if her partner agrees to pay her more than $300k a year.
Jenny Darling from London told her followers that she refuses to ‘sacrifice’ her body for a child unless her demands are fulfilled, which include a personal trainer, a mommy makeover, a push present, baby needs, and therapy.
Sharing a video on TikTok, the influencer said: “This is going to ruffle a few feathers but this is my preference.”
Darling claimed that she previously asked doctors to have her uterus removed as she never wanted to be another but she is now open to the idea if she finds the right partner who can meet her demands.
“I feel like as a woman I would just be sacrificing a lot – this list I don’t think is asking for too much,” she expressed. “I’m not here to suffer,” she added.
Some of the requirements in her motherhood contract include marriage before pregnancy, an extravagant babymoon abroad, and a prenuptial agreement with an infidelity clause.
She also wants a $315,000 allowance per year.
“This will basically cover my weekly therapy sessions I’m going to need before and post giving birth,” she continued.
Darling also said that the allowance would pay for a personal trainer to help her get all fit and healthy.
“Obviously grocery shopping and just things that I would to get for the kids,” she said.
“If I just have an annual or monthly allowance equivalent to that, I’m able to live comfortably not just for myself but for my child as well.”
In addition to the $315,000 allowance, she also has ‘non-negotiables’ including a housekeeper and a doula. She also wants a luxury push present such as an apartment or a car.
