Gia Aldisert, 21, is a real estate agent from Los Angeles who took social media users by surprise as she unveiled her list of rules that both she and her boyfriend strictly follow to ensure a successful and happy relationship.

As the young lady explained, she was slammed by people who think her rules are too strict. Nevertheless, she believes they are responsible for keeping her relationship alive.

Among the top rules on the couple’s list is a rule banning both parties from having best friends of the opposite sex. Gia and her boyfriend are also required to know each other’s phone passwords at all times.

As Gia insisted, this is not an issue for either of them because they have nothing to hide.

She went on to explain that they both need to have location turned on on their phones whenever they go somewhere alone not only for “convenience” purposes but also for “safety” reasons.

“We both feel a lot more comfortable having each other’s locations in case anything happened to either of us,” she explained.

“Neither of us have anything to hide. It would be kind of suspicious if we didn’t want each other to see each other’s locations because it’s like okay, where are we?”

Hinting at another rule, she continued: “I just don’t get the point of a guy with a girlfriend going to strip clubs. It’s a bunch of naked chicks dancing on him and also raunchier things happen. Not to mention, why are you paying her bills? You should be paying my bills, if anything.”

While some things are clearly banned in their relationship, Gia and her boyfriend allow “girls trips” and “boys trips” and don’t see an issue with making friends with members of the opposite sex as long as those are not best friends.

“Girl these are basic healthy relationship rules,” someone wrote.

“This is a mature and healthy relationship,” another said.

Many people, however, disagreed.

“Sounds more like controlling and avoidant methods, rather than dealing with and communicating each other’s insecurities and working on your own stuff,” one argued.

Another agreed: “Yeah it is very weird to have rules in relationships if you trust each other.”
