A newly-wed woman was urged to file for divorce after her wedding photos went viral and viewers spotted a few unfortunate moments.
In one of the wedding shots shared by the American bride, her bridesmaid could be seen standing next to the groom while tightly clutching onto his arm.
In another photo, the bridesmaid was spotted pressing her hand against the groom’s hand right above the man’s groin while he was sharing a look with his new wife.
The pictures quickly went viral on TikTok where viewers accused the bridesmaid of trying to steal the spotlight. Others even went as far as accusing the pair of having an affair.
“I’d be getting a divorce immediately, there’s definitely something going on in those photos,” one woman wrote.
“My thoughts are that the photographer is trying to tell you something,” another said.
A third joked: “Did she not get the memo that she was not the bride?!!!!”
After the wedding snaps went viral and racked up millions of views and thousands of comments, the bride and the groom came up with a follow-up clip in which they insisted there was an innocent explanation for it all.
“The photographer told the bridal party to do a crazy pose while my wife and I were kissing and she did and almost fell over,” the man said.
“Sorry to disappoint everybody who wanted me to be a cheater and the bridesmaid to be a homewrecker.”
Despite offering a believable explanation, many viewers still chose to believe that something more sinister was happening during the picture-taking.
“If I was losing my balance I would’ve grabbed an arm, not a hand. Plus there are multiple poses with them holding hands. No balance issues there,” one viewer said.
“I’m sorry she’s even holding his hand while y’all are KISSING?!?! And he is gripping her right back honey. How y’all ignoring that part,” another argued.
Since the controversial video hit more than 18 million views, the associated TikTok account has been deleted.
