A young woman who got veneers in an attempt at securing a brighter smile has opened up about her ordeal after she was left looking like a horse.

23-year-old Lauren Hartley from Manchester, UK, is a mother-of-four who paid $200 for a set of clip-in veneers that were supposed to give her the natural look and improve her smile.

After purchasing the set from Need to Smile and trying it on, however, the young lady was left in stitches over the horrifying and yet hilarious result.

“I was hoping for them to look like my natural teeth just whiter but when they come and I clipped them in I instantly said I can not ducking wear these I look like a horse,” she recalled.

“They just looked terrible and nothing like the reviews I had seen already so I was so disappointed. I wanted clip-in veneers as I’ve got nice teeth that are natural so I just wanted them whiter. I didn’t expect them to come and make me look like an actual horse.”

Unsatisfied with the result, Lauren sent the veneers back to the store she got them from and is currently awaiting a refund.

“The company offered to send me an impressions kit back out and to start the process again but after some deep thought, I told them I’d rather not,” she added.

“After a while, they finally agreed to refund me so I sent the product back but am still waiting for the payment.”

She also decided to share the funny gaffe on social media where her video quickly racked up millions of views.

“Do you have to wind them up before a meal?” one viewer joked.

“What time you racing love?” another pitched in.

The third wrote: “Whose horse is that?”
