A woman has come under fire after showing photos of adorable meals she makes for her husband before he goes to work.
25-year-old Liza Stian is a doting wife and expert lunch maker who has gone viral thanks to the intricate lunchboxes she prepares for her working husband on a daily basis.
The lunchboxes contain anything from Disney characters to teddy-shaped home-baked bread to dumplings that look like ducks.
Liza’s lunchbox ideas have quickly raised plenty of eyebrows on the internet where critics accused the young woman of “babying” her husband and putting him in an awkward position with her “child-like” meals.
“This is something that a child would enjoy. Don’t you think the teddy bears and the ducks are a bit too much for a grown a** man??” one viewer said.
“Why can’t your husband cook for himself? He’s a grown man and needs to learn how to take care of his own meals,” another added.
A third wrote: “A lot of your food is too girly – does your husband get bullied for bringing pink pasta to work?”
Many viewers, however, rushed to the woman’s defense and praised her for taking care of her husband’s meals and putting so much effort into making him happy.
“I’m as manly as men get and I’d LOVE to take her lunches to work. Don’t care what other people might think, it all looks delicious,” one person insisted.
“I envy your husband, what has he done to deserve this,” another wrote.
A third added: “It’s so lovely to see you cooking such nice meals for your husband.”
While some viewers chose to remain unopinionated, plenty of people also pointed out that – though cute – the lunches are way too small for a grown man and would be more suitable for a child.
“These lunches look great but there’s no way a grown man will survive off this,” someone said.
“Most of these ‘lunches’ really look like snacks – my boyfriend would need at least four times the food,” another woman suggested.
