A woman who tied the knot and had kids with her stepbrother has spoken out and slammed rolls who described their relationship as a ‘train wreck’.
Lindsay and her husband Cade Brown gained followers on TikTok for their bizarre love which started during their teenage years.
The two first met in school, with Lindsay revealing how she used to sneak Cade into her house late at night until her mother found out and prohibited them from seeing each other.
During those times, their parents were not married yet.
“They were just acquaintances really,” Lindsay expressed. “Everything kind of started t come to a head around that time.”
She then joined the Air Force and moved to Texas. Years later, their romance started again after they reconnected over social media.
Lindsay said that they got married in 2014, and her mother and Cade’s dad also tied the knot years later.
“No, our parents did not get married first. We did,” she clarified, adding that their families ‘have blended really well.’
Despite her explanation, many trolls are still targeting the couple with brutal comments, with one person writing: “So your kids will be your nephew and nieces in-laws and your kids?”
Another wrote: “An absolute train wreck waiting to happen.”
Lyndsay and Cade have now slammed the trolls by sharing a video of them reading the comments section with disgust.
But others were quick to show their support for the couple’s relationship, with one person sharing: “We are in the same situation! We married then our parents married 3 years later.”
Another wrote: “As long as y’all were together before they were it’s not as bad as it sounds.”
