38-year-old April Brucker is a ventriloquist from Las Vegas, Nevada, who boasts 38 puppet ‘children’ whom she spends $50,000-a-year on.

While April made it clear she’s not willing to give up on her beloved puppets, she now admitted she is looking for a partner who will support her passion and her massive figurine collection.

Back in 2010, April broke up with her ex after he gave her an ultimatum saying she was either to keep him or her dolls. Since then, April became a global sensation with thousands of admirers who allegedly send her love letters. Mr. Right, however, is yet to make his appearance.

“I’m just desperately seeking Mr. Okay. And Mr. Okay has to be a man that likes puppets. That’s number one,” Brocker told DailyMail.com.

“And he’s got to have a good sense of humor. So that’s where I’m at, I’m still just desperately seeking Mr. Okay.”

She continued: “I will say, I am getting a lot of attention on social media from guys. One guy wrote me in Croatian, and it was the first fan letter that I’d ever gotten in Croatian. And I get fan letters from all around the world from men who have read about my fiancé dumping me and they want to marry me and take me far away and stuff.

“I’ve had some people that have raised a lot of red flags, but thankfully, I’ve had a lot of good support around me. I try to put boundaries up with some people, but not all my encounters have been bad.”

As for her plans for the future, April hopes to one day get married and have all of her children present at her wedding. She would also like to see some of them fill in the shoes of bridesmaids and groomsmen.

April also took the opportunity to open up about her expenses saying $50,000 a year is a minimum when it comes to the upkeep of 38 puppets.

“For instance, as a writer, you need a new laptop every once in a while, because you can’t write without a laptop… I can’t perform without these guys, so if they look ratty, nobody wants to book them. So the financial upkeep can be an uphill battle, but it’s worth it, it is always worth it,” she added.

“But I work a lot and that’s where the puppets pay off, because I did a nine month residency here in Vegas. So even though I spend money, it’s like I spend money to make money by puppets or my business.”
