A woman has claimed that she is ‘too pretty to work’ as she ranted about the 9-5 grind on social media.
Lucy Welcher took to TikTok and shared a video of herself drinking coffee in her vehicle as she ranted about having to work.
“I do not want to work for the rest of my life,” she said in the viral video.
“Does it look like I wanna get up at 6am every f***ing day for the next 60 years? No! I’m too pretty for that!” she went on.
But her video immediately met backlash and most commenters labeled her as ‘entitled.’
“Hate to break it to you but the world does NOT revolve around you,” one TikTok user commented.
“How about trying to be an adult instead of a privileged princess expecting life to be handed to you?” another wrote.
“I hope you get humbled girl, you need it,” a third said.
“Future is doomed. We will have a lack of doctors, lawyers, engineers and nurses because the entitled generation all want to be social media influencers and have an Only Fans,” someone else added.
Despite the negative remarks, some agreed with her and said that they also do not want to work.
“Sending this to every employer I’ve ever had,” one person wrote.
“Same is,” another said.
In another clip, Lucy revealed that she previously worked multiple jobs, including working at a smoke shop and as a babysitter.
But in a separate video, the TikToker did not seem interested in studying either.
“Literally the whole point of school is so you can get a degree and get a job and work,” she complained. “But I don’t want a job because working is not for me so please remind me why the f*** I’m in school.”
