Zac Efron looked unrecognizable as he recreated wrester Kevin Von Erich’s body on the set of a new movie, The Iron Claw.
The 35-year-old actor looked so much different from his character Troy Bolton in The High School Musical franchise as he walked around the set wearing only a towel.
While he’s always been known for his hunky body, Efron has gained more amount of muscle to copy frame of Von Erich for the upcoming film.
The actor also had a deep tan and a bowl style wig as he wandered around the set while holding his phone.
The Iron Claw follows the story of the Von Erichs, a dynasty of wresters who made a huge impact on the sport industry since the 1960s.
Fritz Von Erich, whose real name was Jack Adkisson, started his career in the 50s and 60s before he became a promoter for World Class Championship Wrestling.
The movie, which will be directed by Sean Durkin, takes its title from the Von Erich’s legendary finishing hold which was also used by some of his children who decided to follow his path.
Sadly, five of his six sons died and only Kevin was alive by the time Fritz passed away in 1997 at the age of 68.
According to reports, his first son, Jack Barton Adkisson, Jr., tragically died at the age of only 6 after being accidentally shocked by an exposed wire.
Fritz’ third son David passed away at the age of 25 from a suspected painkiller overdose.
Kerry, the fourth son, died after taking his own life at the age of 33 – seven years after a motorcycle accident forced him to have his right foot amputated.
