There have been political tensions that have been rising throughout the nation and people from the right wing party have organized rallies all over the country that shout “White Lives Matter!”
At a recent “White Lives Matter” Rally that was held in Huntington Beach, a hoard of “anti-facist” protestors stood their ground and came out in order to fight against the white supremacy that the “White Lives Matter” was defending.
There were at least 300 protestors on the other side, and police called it an “unlawful gathering,” for there was a crowd that could not be tamed by officials. There had been no resistance of trying to stop either side in the beginning, says Orange County Register, but the tension between two parties had begun to rise once they physically clashed.
Those who participated in the “White Lives Matter” Rally waved American flags such as “Don’t Tread On Me” and a Trump flag, being chased around by the anti-fascist protestors that came to the rally to be the opposing side.
A woman who was chanting “Black Lives Matter” had been mocked, getting hit in the face with another protestor’s coffee.
The opposing side had started off peacefully but by the time the tension kept rising, multiple arrests had been made on both parties.
This is not the only location that anti-fascist protestors stampeded, for there were other “White Lives Matter” rallies in New York, New Mexico, Washington, Pennsylvania, and so forth but the one in Huntington Beach was predominantly the biggest one.
Huntington Beach’s rally had attracted the most attention, and a lot of the media had already spread through social media platforms to bring light to what was happening in the area. Investigators are currently trying to find the main source of who had organized the rallies, but are unsuccessful so far.
Apparently, the rallies had been organized through a messaging app through Telegram, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
There were KKK propaganda that were being delivered to homes in Huntington Beach and residing cities such as Long Beach. Though it had been spread through flyers, police believe that they are not associated with the people who have organized the “White Lives matter” rally.
