We, the people who carry a cell phone or a laptop to surf the internet are privileged enough to fulfill our needs as well as get luxuries served on a platter like good food, fine clothes, education in good and great institutions and what not.
But there are people in the world that does not have enough resources to own the most basic things in life like shoes.
A video that was shared on the Internet by a visitor went viral on the Internet and it is winning hearts. A woman danced off with all her joy after receiving a gift.
It was a pair of old shoes that the woman received but to her, it was a present of the lifetime.
The woman had never owned a pair of shoes ever before in her life and after receiving them as a gift for the very first time, she could not keep herself and started dancing in the middle of the road to celebrate her joy.
Laura Grier was visiting Bwindi National Park of Uganda on June 15th when she saw this young woman who was walking in the garden bare feet. Laura decided to go talk to the woman and found out that she has never had shoes in her entire life.
Laura could not resist her feelings and decided to give her shoes. She had an old pair of tennis shoes with her and she gifted them to the woman. Over showered with joy, the woman could not stop dancing and expressing her joy.
She lives around Bwindi National Park that is home to about 750 mountain gorillas that is half the population of the species population around the world.
