This is the terrifying moment an arborist, who was working on a palm tree, tries to escape the fire.
An arborist was working on a palm tree. He climbed the tree to remove a dead part of the tree that had become dangerous.
The arborist can be seen scaling the tree to the top and then removes a few leaves from the top of the tree.
He then uses a chainsaw on the tree leaves and it sparks a fire that spreads over the entire tree within a short period of time.
The arborist tries to escape the fire and manages to escape.
He later explained: “I am a Certified Arborist in Garonne, France. While I was in a palm tree, the chainsaw probably made some sparks that started a fire on a log I was removing.”
“The situation started to escalate when my chainsaw caught on fire. The scene started to degenerate dangerously after I removed the fire from my saw, which fell down and bounced at the base of the tree, caught fire, and came up at me in no time.”
When a chainsaw is used on a very hot day, it sparks a fire and this is what happened in this video.
The terrifying video, which was filmed by the arborist himself, was shared online and went viral instantly, leaving people stunned and horrified.
One user wrote: ‘I must say this guy is one cool dude, never ever panicked!
I’d want him on my team any day!!’ While another user said: ‘Those palm tree hairs are very flammable’.
The third one wrote: ‘Didn’t seem to be in any rush about it. Ah well, so my foot is on fire’ while another added: ‘Didn’t see that coming’.
Well, hats off to the brave arborist for not panicking even in this serious situation.
