A sickening video has emerged of a schoolgirl bullying another girl by dragging her ponytail inside their school while other students laugh.
The scared girl was filmed being dragged from under the stairs at Carnoustie High School in Angus. A group of girls can be heard cackling and cheering the bully as they film the shameful assault.
The blonde bully laughed before pushing the victim’s face to the floor and then dragged her again. She then ran along the ramp while still pulling the poor girl’s hair.
Another girl started dancing and laughing as the horrific assault occurred. One of the bully’s friends also appeared in the video and said hi to the camera.
The bully then dragged the poor victim in front of the camera while other students’ legs can be seen sliding on the floor. Then they laughed hard before the video ended.
The video was shared online by an angry parent who claims her daughter was also bullied by the same girl.
“This is what a bully looks like. The same girl that made my daughter move school because she smasher her head off a door,” she wrote.
“Bullies should be called out, end off.”
The Facebook video was later deleted upon the request of the school. But the clip was already viewed by many and gained thousands of comments from furious people.
One parent tagged the school, writing: “Her bullying has gone on long enough for a few families. Turns out it isn’t just mine.”
Another viewer wrote: “Hopefully this horrible girl and her stupid pals get what’s coming to them.”
A third said: “That’s disgusting. The lot of them should be kicked out laughing. I would call the police. School obviously not able to manage it.”
A father commented: “Disgusting bullying b****. Hope your daughter okay. That b**** time will come. Total lowlife scumbags. Same to the person videoing it.”
A spokesperson for Angus Council said in a statement: “We can confirm that the pupils involved and their parents have been spoken with and appropriate action is being taken.
“All incidents, complaints and allegations of bullying are taken seriously.
“We advise our young people to report any incidents immediately to staff so they can be investigated and addressed promptly and effectively.
“No school is immune to issues of bullying and none of our schools are complacent in this regard. All of our schools are required to involve and consult the school community in order to devise, publicise and implement a school anti-bullying policy.”
