Even in front of the students, these parents caused a racket making many people frown.
US media ABC7 Chicago reported that the annual fundraiser for collecting high school scholarships was stopped by parents fighting.
An annual fundraising event was held to collect high school scholarship funds in Douglas County, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
The athletic event, which celebrated its 7th year this year, said that various programs were held with high school students as well as parents.
Parents who were playing cornhole tournament, a game of throwing beanbags to score points, suddenly started an argument.
A man began to complain about the score.
The disturbance that started with a small quarrel eventually spread to full fist fight, and the parents exchanged punches in front of their children.
In the heated fight, some parents had their t-shirts torn or were bruised during the fight.
The fight ended when the startled event host declared “I will cancel the game” through a microphone.
Douglas County Council, which hosted the event, said, “Many high school students have been awarded scholarships through the athletic event for the past seven years, but all the scholarships have been recalled this year as the event was canceled.”
