The simple rule that you have to keep in your mind while taking a cab is that you are not allowed to leave anything behind, because you may never find the same cab ever again.
And the thing you have left behind, well, you can only say goodbye to it in your heart. So if you are carrying anything that is precious to you, make sure you always take care of taking it with you while you de-board a cab.
Losing a precious thing can make you sick and worried and anxious for days and days, especially when that precious thing is your newborn child.
This may sound bizarre but a couple was left stunned and panic-stricken when they realized that they have left their newborn child in the cab they boarded from the hospital to get back home.
The unnamed Deutschland family had just welcomed the fourth member of their family. The parents already had a one-year-old baby.
The family took the cab from the hospital and reached home. The mother took her 1-year-old and the father paid for the cab and bid goodbye to the driver. It was just a few seconds later that the family realized they do not have the baby with them.
Both the parents ran after the cab but the driver did not notice them and went away driving busy in his thoughts.
The parents of the baby quickly called the police and asked for their help. Wasting no time, the police got to their job quickly as well.
The cab driver directly went to take his meal and parked the cab in a basement, unaware of the baby. It was later when he drove to the airport to get passengers that he realized that the baby was in the car. He drove back to give the baby away.
The baby was then taken to the hospital for a checkup and now is safe at home with its family.
