Despite the fact that the website is back online, it currently offers nothing but the team’s message to its users. Meanwhile, the app is still not available in Google or Apple store.

In a Parler.com message to “both lovers and haters,” the team behind social media service expressed their wish to remind everyone about why they started the platform.

“Now seems like the right time to remind you all — both lovers and haters — why we started this platform. We believe privacy is paramount and free speech essential, especially on social media,” the message under the ‘Technical Difficulties’ banner reads.

Parler appears to have begun recovering after their app was ditched by Google and Apple and after Amazon cut ties with the platform over the insurrection at the Capitol.

Speaking of the decision to suspend the platform from its web hosting service, Amazon previously claimed that they “cannot provide services to a customer that is unable to effectively identify and remove content that encourages or incites violence against others.”

Following January 6, Parler was heavily blamed for the Capitol riot due to the platform’s failure to remove content inciting violence.
