A pastor in Cameroon died from his battle with coronavirus after claiming to be capable of healing COVID-19 patients by touching them.
39-year-old Frankline Ndifor had no shortage of worshippers rallying at Kingship International Ministries Church after insisting he could heal coronavirus patients.
According to the Voice of America News, the pastor would “lay his hands on” churchgoers, who called him a prophet, and say prayers as a part of his ‘healing’ process.
As Dr. Gaelle Nnanga reported, Ndifor passed away from the killer bug just minutes after receiving medical treatment that followed some one week after he contracted the virus.
After the pastor’s passing, it took the authorities several hours to break through hordes of worshippers who blocked the entrance to the pastor’s home.
As some supporters allegedly insisted, the pastor couldn’t be buried right away because he was on a retreat with God.
Following Ndifor’s sudden death, the pastor was put to rest in front of his home whereas his supporters continued praying for his resurrection over the weekend.
As one of the worshippers, Rigobert Che, expressed, Ndifor prayed for dozens of confirmed and suspected COVID-19 patients.
“This is a pastor that has been laying hands [on patients] and claiming that he cures COVID-19. If you, the person that claims that you are curing COVID-19, you are dead, what about the fellow people that were affected by the COVID-19?” Che said.
“Now that he is dead, I do not know how the people that he was laying hands on will be healed.”
