Some people love the rain while others just hate it.
But how one reacts to rain really depends on one’s environment. If it’s been a hot and dry summer, a sudden squall is a practical godsend. But if you live near a creek that easily overflows and has flooded your home in the past, then chances are, you’ll react differently once those first drops of rain hit the ground.
But no one can deny that rain is just part of the cycle of nature as she tries to renew herself through her many cycles. It keeps plants alive, refills our aqueducts, and basically just cleans the whole place out.
Watch what happened to these people when they mistakenly thought a puddle was shallow.

Even in places where the surroundings are not really that clean, some rainfall can make a difference in the air and partially drown out the stink of the place, at least temporarily.
While ideally, any urban area should be kept meticulously clean and maintained, the reality is that when you have a significant population to deal with and/or the local government is lacking in funds, or will or even both, then infrastructure gets neglected and starts to fall apart. While this is more of a problem in Third World countries, some areas in developed nations are not immune to this problem.
It’s not clear which city or country the video was taken from but it shows a rainy day and the people recording the video have zeroed in on a particular puddle in what looks to be a parking lot.
Unknown to the pedestrians walking there but what those recording the video clearly knew, the puddle was nothing but shallow and the muddy water hid a waist-deep hole that the unwary could sink into and that’s what happened several times.
The first victim was a woman who was oblivious of the danger and so was totally surprised when she sank into the water as she stepped into the puddle. The process repeats several times as a few hapless pedestrians fall victim to the hidden hole.
Instead of warning them, those behind the camera even snicker at the fate of those people, unconcerned that any one of those victims could have been injured though thankfully, none of them appeared to be hurt.
While those who recorded the video were really mean, it does serve as video evidence of the problem and perhaps anyone who recognizes the area can inform the local council because really, it’s just a matter of time before someone really gets hurt when it starts raining again.
And if you’re navigating through the rain, try to stay away from any muddle puddles and keep your attention to where you’re going to so that you’re not caught unawares.
