A set of pink seesaws has emerged at the US-Mexico border where the devices were installed onto the wall to allow people from the US to play with those from Mexico.

In defiance of Trump’s anti-immigration laws, the seesaws instantly became a hit with thousands of adults and children going to the spot just to play with each other.

The pink seesaws were placed across the border wall between Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, after two professors decided to alleviate the tensions at the border.

The project was brought to life by a University of California professor of architecture, Ronald Rael, and a San José State University associate professor, San Fratello.

Following the successful implementation of the seesaws, Rael took pictures and videos of the project and shared them on his Instagram account.

“One of the most incredible experiences of my and @vasfsf’s career bringing to life the conceptual drawings of the Teetertotter Wall from 2009 in an event filled with joy, excitement, and togetherness at the border wall,” the professor wrote.

“The wall became a literal fulcrum for US — Mexico relations and children and adults were connected in meaningful ways on both sides with the recognition that the actions that take place on one side have a direct consequence on the other side.”

Rael’s post has racked up over 100,000 likes in a single day with people suggesting what the professors did was simply amazing.

The implementation of the project follows shortly after the US Supreme Court granted Trump’s request to dedicate $2.5 billion of Pentagon funds towards the upgrade of the border wall.
