For every human being religion is a choice they do not want to disrespect.
For the same, there are rules around the world. Especially in Muslim countries where women wear a veil and do not feel comfortable taking it off.
When a woman went to a doctor with her sick young daughter, the doctors asked her to take her veil off. Well, this is the blame that has been put on 52 years old Dr. Keith Wolverson.
Now his career is at the verge of ending because he is not able to find any work. Also, there is a chance that he might be suspended or his licensed might get canceled.
Dr. Keith said “The woman came to the clinic with her young daughter and was explaining the symptoms of her sickness. That is when I politely asked her if she would mind taking her veil off because I was not able to understand what she was saying.”
He added that he did not force the woman and she at once took her veil off. He said that there was no pressure on her but that is not what the woman said.
The woman and her husband claim that she was forced to take her veil off because the doctor said he would not continue without it.
The doctor said he is not able to find any work and is willing to give up his practice as a doctor and take up cosmetic surgeries. He said that although the investigation is going on there is no evidence that states he was acting as claimed by the women.
To save the doctor who might get his practice restrained, thousands of people have come on the streets to take out rallies and just in a night, the petition that was created in his support received 11,000 signatures.
