Following the plans to raid the notorious classified base Area 51, people are now organizing to storm the Bermuda Triangle because ‘it can’t swallow all of us.
’
While the plans of attack on Area 51 were unveiled as a ‘joke’ by the event’s organizers, thousands of people appeared to have taken the preparations seriously.
However, according to the organizer of the ‘Storm The Bermuda Triangle,’ Anthony Dominick Carnovale, he is completely serious about taking thousands of people to the Bermuda Triangle.
As Carnovale explained in an interview with Fox 11, he will organize “live music, entertainment, and a beach party,” while providing attendees with “boats and scuba gear.”
To help his plans come to life on October 1 this year, Anthony started a GoFundMe page and hopes to raise $175,000.
“I’m contractually obligated to only use the money for the event. If I somehow can’t, I have to give everyone their money back,” the man said, serious about pulling the event off.
“Basically organizing a beach party at the tip of the Bermuda triangle. Gonna be a safe party and I am going to hire an event organizer to help plan the party and rent boats and hire live music,” Carnovale wrote on GoFundMe.
“All unused funds are being donated to cancer research and world wildlife foundation for marine life preservation. 5 dollar optional donations at the door or you must bring 3 cans of food to donate to the canned food drive to help support families affected by tropical storms.”
The announcement followed just hours after Matty Roberts, the organizer of the event called ‘Storm Area 51’ stepped forward and revealed his plan was a joke.
“I posted it on like June 27th and it was kind of a joke,” Mr. Roberts told KLAS-TV.
“And then it waited for like three days and like 40 people, and then it just completely took off, out of nowhere. It’s pretty wild.
“I was like, the FBI is going to show up at my house and it got a little spooky from there.”
