There are times when you experience bad service at the store or hear offensive comments.
And when that happens, people usually freeze and don’t know what to say in reply.
Meet Sophia Benner, a two-year-old who had a perfect response when faced with such situation.point 152 |

And amazed by her daughter, Brandi Benner decided to post about it on Facebook, which went viral.point 333 |

As Brandi explains, she and her daughter Sophia went to Target when this happened.point 69 | Because Sophia successfully finished potty training, Brandi told her that she could pick anything from the store as a prize.point 174 | 1
Since she recently became obsessed with doctors, it wasn’t surprising for Brandi to see Sophia pick a doll dressed as a doctor.
But when they went to the cash register, the cashier said the unthinkable.
Target cashier asked Sophia if she was sure about her choice.
“Are you sure this is the doll you want, honey?”
“Yes please!”
Still, however, the cashier seemed a bit reluctant to continue checking out the items.
Both Sophia and Brandi were confused, and stared at the cashier.

Then, the cashier further explained what she was trying to ask to Sophia, and Brandi could not believe her ears.
“But she doesn’t look like you. We have lots of other dolls that look more like you.”
It turned out that the cashier was asking if Sophia wanted a doll that looked more like her.
Before the enraged mother could say anything about such unbelievably rude and racist comment, Sophia completely shut her down with this response.
“Yes she does. She’s like a doctor like I’m a doctor. And I’m a pretty girl and she’s a pretty girl. See her pretty hair? And see her stethoscope?”

This amazing answer by her little girl made Brandi so proud that she decided to share the story on Facebook. Brandi wrote, “Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it.” And not surprisingly, people are in love with Sophia.
In terms for how the cashier dealt with this situation, a representative from Target said that the company “will use this situation as a training opportunity for the entire team, so that everyone can feel welcomed, valued, and respected.”
What an incredible two-year-old!
