Are you a person with a small height? If yes, you might have been through this affliction of not being able to see in a festival or gig.
Owing to the crowd in a concert or gig, the people with small height feel difficulty in watching the whole show. The people with tall height enjoy all the festivals because they are able to watch every bit of the gig and upon that, they block the sight of short people.
A designer named Dominic Wilcox who hails from London has found an amazing solution to this problem. He was given a challenge so that he can discover answers to the issues which people face every day.
These glasses are basically viewfinder and the person who wears them can see till one foot above. Through these glasses, one can see above the person who is standing next to him. These periscope glasses are what you will be in need of when you will visit a concert.
The internal formation of these amazing glasses includes a mirror of small magnitude which Wilcox has set at an angle of 45 degrees. This small mirror faces the larger one, which is outwardly pointed.
Dominic told Dezeen that once he went to a gig and there he found that a woman with a small height was enjoying and dancing. However, she was unable to watch the band because the people who were tall in height had blocked her sight as they were standing in front of her.
This scene incited an idea in Dominic’s mind and he is aiming to design glasses through which people would be able to more than six feet high. Unfortunately, this discovery is not readily available and one cannot purchase it.
However, it was revealed at the D&AD festival in an exhibition of solutions to the problems faced by people in everyday solutions.
Dominic believes that the problems which people face can be treated with creativity as Dominic got his education from London’s Royal College of Arts which has added into his skills.
He believes that creativity can be enhanced by boosting one’s ability to think.
