Just like a person fears before going for a hair cut, pet lovers fear to send their pet to groomers.
It is because they want their fur babies to be treated kindly and lovingly. In a rare incident, twenty-four-year-old Graziella Puleo went to Amore’s Pet Salon Dog Grooming Day Care Boarding Spa situated in Lake Worth Beach for grooming but was shocked to see her dog died in weird colors.
She took her Goldendoodle, Lola, to the grooming center for a nail trim, buzz cut, and getting its teeth clean. However, the groomer decided it would be fun to dye the dog’s fur and chose neon pink and neon green.
They died her eyebrows and tail in neon green. Her ears appeared as they were dipped in neon pink. And the reason is unknown.
Obviously, Graziella was furious and could not react to what the groomer had done to the dog. She said she almost cried and told them that it seems as if they painted her dog only to make her look like a clown.
Apart from the horrible physical appearance, the dog’s teeth hadn’t been cleaned, and it also suffered an infection.
Graziella had to take her to the vet after her dog’s underside turned pink from infection.
The owner of the grooming center apologized and offered a refund of $150 (£120), the amount Graziella had paid. However, Raquel Adams who is the owner defended the dye saying that the groomer just wanted to make the dog happy.
He added that sometimes they color the dogs to beautify them. He further said that they should have first asked about dying the dog. Raquel claimed that they did not clean Lola’s teeth as it did not like it and the infection was sue to her own licking habit.
