A photo of an abandoned house has gone viral after eagle-eyed netizens spotted a stunning optical illusion.
Rodrigo Miguel Sepúlveda Nunes is a Portuguese artist who goes by the nickname of Vile. Showing off his incredible talent in one of his projects, the man gave an abandoned home a completely new look.
Take a look at his creation and let us know if you managed to figure out what’s going on!
As you can see in the picture above, the word vile is etched into the wall of the abandoned building. While it looks like you can see inside the home thanks to the holes that are forming the word vile, the wall is actually solid and doesn’t feature any see-through spaces.
You heard that right! What you see is a clever optical illusion created by Rodrigo who spray-painted the building’s wall to make it look like you could see inside the house.
Were you able to see through the deception? Did you know that this was just graffiti and not real holes in the wall of a building?
If you like optical illusions featured on buildings, you should also take a close look at the projects below!
The amazing work of art seen above was created by Peeta, a renowned artist whose baffling optical illusions can be found around the globe.
This particular building stands in Mannheim, Germany, and features two-dimensional walls that give off the 3D vibe thanks to the painted illusion.
Below is another interesting work of art in which sculptor Alex Chinneck ‘unzipped’ the outer layer of a building in preparation for the Milan Design Week in Italy.
Inside the zipper-themed building, people could find more sculptures of the same kind.
