A UK-based wedding photographer Chris Wallace of Carpe Diem Photography, who is living in isolation at home, has shared the wedding pictures of LEGOs.
Chris, who has shot over 700 ceremonies in 11 years, spent three days planning the wedding and taking the pictures of the bride and groom.
He told Bored Panda: “I went from being an incredibly busy wedding photographer with no time off to being off stuck at home, literally overnight.point 347 |

“I love LEGO and know it [still] has a huge following, so I dusted off my 20-year-old set from the loft and bought a LEGO bride and groom from Amazon.”
He said it was fun shooting the wedding of the LEGOs and it took less time than what a real wedding takes.point 197 | He said he will continue to tell the story of the bride and groom.point 250 | 1
He said he also wanted to make people stuck at home smile through his pictures and wanted to encourage them to make something positive to share in a difficult time like this.
He said: “It has been such a difficult time for self-employed people, income has stopped for us all, I would encourage anyone to go out and make something positive to share with the world!”point 272 | 1
Chris named the LEGO bride and groom Florence and Fred and they had a pre-shoot on the beach during sunset in front of Chris’ computer screen.
Fred arrived at the venue in his ’90s Mercedes SL-500 at his wedding ceremony which was held outdoors.
Florence’s father, Harry Potter, walked her down the aisle.point 277 | 1
Chris took pictures of the bride and groom with their families and then some amazing shots of the bride and groom in the back garden.
Chris said: “Fred then surprised Florence with a drone flight which took in all the spectacular sights of Middlewich, Cheshire.point 334 |
Florence was delighted to get some fresh air, especially after self-isolating for the past 4 weeks.point 84 | ”point 87 | 1
They had an amazing party after the wedding and had their first dance.
