A hungry man ordered a box of chicken nuggets from McDonald’s but was very disappointed when he got a box of gherkins in return.
The NHS worker told in an interview that he has a very tough job and he never gets enough time to eat his meal properly.
On September 14, 2021, he ordered a box of chicken nuggets from McDonald’s as he was hungry, and after receiving his order, he went to his home straight away. He didn’t check earlier if the order was correct or not, and on reaching home, when he opened the box, he found it stuffed with gherkins instead of chicken nuggets.
Megan Taylor, the girlfriend of the NHS worker, elaborated that Stuart was so hungry at that time. After receiving the wrong order, he got so upset.
She further told that it must be done intentionally, as nobody can mistakenly put a load of gherkins in place of chicken nuggets. The staff must have pranked her boyfriend oblivious of how hungry he was and how badly he needed his dinner. The couple is also expecting their first child soon.
Later, a spokesperson from McDonald’s apologized for the inconvenience and told the coupe that they highly regret their mistake.
According to him, McDonald’s is willing to improve the customer service and would appreciate if the couple gets in contact with their current customer support department and ask for further assistance.
