Pictures coming out from the incident shows more than 30,000 people accumulated on the historic mountain.
Mount Tai mountain that sits on the outer side of Tai’an in East China’s Shandong Province reported selling more than 29,000 tickets to the tourists. Visitors were flooding the mountain as people came to witness the sunrise on May 1st.
The mountain holds historic and cultural significance in the country. It is the eastern mountain of the Five Great Mountains in the nation.
The virus that caused pandemic and continues to affect the world originated in Wuhan city of China at the end of 2019. Now the country is having ease as the virus has almost wiped out of the country.
The authorities and tourism department announced that the country is taking the pace again with 70% of public places back on the run.
While 29,000+ people were reported to be present on the mountain on 1st of May, the number was significantly less than the normal.
After the spread of coronavirus, the authorities in Beijing have restricted admission to the tourist place up to 30% of the previous limit only. The visiting tickets for the mountain are only available online with no tickets available offline at all.
This is not the first incident happening of the crowd coming to a tourist place. In the month of April, pictures show more than 62,000 people coming together on the western side of the country to be at a lake.
The Western lake is humongous and a very popular tourist destination in the country but it was surprising to see 62,000 people coming together after a massive pandemic that spreads through the air.
The nation may have started the normal life back but the virus has not completely wiped out yet and other countries of the globe are badly suffering right now because of the novel virus.
No matter you are in which county, taking measures are still important until we have a vaccine at our disposal to win over this disease.
