Piers Morgan has once again gone after Meghan Markle and her bombshell allegations as he called her a liar and branded CBS a disgrace.
The controversial British broadcaster and critic has repeatedly slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after Meghan Markle claimed she was left suicidal during her time in the Palace.
Recently, the TV presenter, who walked out of Good Morning Britain following a backlash for refusing to believe Meghan, also backed his comrade Sharon Osbourne who was accused of racism and forced to quit her tole in The Talk after defending Morgan on the CBS talk show.
“What’s happened to @sharonosbourne is an absolute disgrace that shames CBS,” Morgan tweeted in Osbourne’s defense before going after Meghan and promising to take a jab at “this woke cancel culture bullsh*t.”
“Bullied out of her job for defending me against an invented slur of racism because I don’t believe a liar. In tomorrow’s Mail on Sunday, I’ll tell MY truth about this woke cancel culture bulls*t,” Morgan added.
The 55-year-old’s comments follow shortly after Osbourne was forced to quit The Talk after facing backlash for defending Morgan on TV.
“Educate me, tell me when you have heard him say racist things,” the 68-year-old told co-host Sheryl Underwood during a heated debate on The Talk.
“I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist?”
After the discussion, Sharon was quick to apologize but that didn’t stop CBS from blasting her comments and ruling that her “behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace.”
“Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The Talk. The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home,” the network confirmed.
“At the same time, we acknowledge the network and studio teams, as well as the showrunners, are accountable for what happened during that broadcast as it was clear the co-hosts were not properly prepared by the staff for a complex and sensitive discussion involving race.”
“During this week’s hiatus, we are coordinating workshops, listening sessions and training about equity, inclusion and cultural awareness for the hosts, producers and crew,” CBS added.
“Going forward, we are identifying plans to enhance the producing staff and producing procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers.”
