These new pills can make farts smell like chocolate or roses, according to the inventor.
They also come in violet, lily of the valley, ginger, and can also be given to animals!
69-year-old Christian Poincheval, the inventor, said he got the idea while “at a table with friends after a copious meal when we nearly asphyxiated ourselves.
“The gas wasn’t great for our table neighbours. Something had to be done about this. You can disguise the sound of a fart but not the stench.”
Poincheval started selling the pills as dietary supplements and expanded his range to ‘add a touch of humor for any occasion.’
He advises taking the pills two times a week. A powder version is also available for pets!
The pills are made from natural ingredients and are sold by PilulePet for around £20 for 60 pieces.
“If you are tired of rolling down the car windows trips then this is for you! Capsules are packaged discreetly to avoid any embarrassment,” its website reads.
Pet owners can also sprinkle some powder onto their dogs or cat’s meals.
Holding your fart in means you might breathe it out of your mouth instead.
One internet user wrote: “A policeman in Scotland could have done with these yesterday , when a miscreant farted in his face and asked how he liked that. The policeman said I’ll have the red ones.”
Another wrote: “The whole point of dropping a smelly one in public is to offend those around you. Why would I want this?”
A third said: “Could do with these, done one the other day that made my mother-in-laws eyes mist over. She was following me up some stairs at the time.”
