Grayson Helgren, a young 13 months infant, is suffering from a rare heart condition called “Dilated Cardiomyopathy”.
Grayson was diagnosed with this condition when he was only 2 months old. Shannon Helgren, a a 24 years old mum of Grayson, is experiencing severe fear of losing his son as finding a donor is only hope for Grayson to survive.

The doctors have told Shannon about the condition of her son that he is unlikely to live beyond 2 years with this condition.

Grayson’s heart is only 14 percent functional, putting extra pressure on other organs too. He is not able to eat any solid food, so he is being fed through a tube and is currently on 10 different medications. Moreover, he often suffers from pneumonia, bronchitis and chest infections too.
Due to weekend immunity, Grayson often gets sick and spends his day sleeping. Grayson was put on the heart transplant list on Christmas Eve 2018 but so far a suitable organ has not been found. According to the NHS figures, in August last year, there were 280 people waiting for a heart transplant, including 29 children. As she is experiencing immense pressure and going through emotions, she has all his children signed up for organ donation.
She wants to see her boy grow up and go to school. She also wants him to live a normal happy life. But she is unaware of what is going to happen tomorrow, although she strongly believes that every day is a new day.
