The role of luck in our success is very important.
Some people are so lucky that they get everything without praying for it. Recently an incident happened when a man who decided to sell his Porsche to raise the deposit for a new house and just after two days his luck made him win another one.
A plumber named Tom Harvey sold his Porsche to raise money for a deposit on a new house but fate has decided something better for him.
In 2017, Tom won a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS worth £110,000($140K) on Boxing Day along with £20,000($25K) in cash after entering an online spot-the-ball competition.
Then recently, he won a Macan S worth just a shade under £50,000 ($63K) and another £20,000($25K) in cash. His two windfalls total £198,750($250K).
The best thing was that he had just sold his first win for about £90,000($100K) to use as a deposit on a new house with his partner and two days later won another.
Tom was attending a plumbing course in Essex with his father Bill when he received news of the latest win.
The 28-year-old is from Dartford, Kent, and he admitted that he was surprised by the win.
He said: “I must be one of the luckiest men on the planet at the moment.”
“I just ditched the course and went straight to Porsche in East London. I seriously never thought I’d win once, let alone twice, so I’m properly gobsmacked.”
Another guy who was lucky enough to grab a large prize was Sam Lawton, a 19-year-old data analyst who won £120,000 ($145,000) with his first-ever lottery ticket. He was having a bath and the thought of playing the National Lottery for the first time came in his mind. Lucky Sam ended up winning the huge prize.
