The authorities have pleaded with the public for help in finding a missing woman who hasn’t been seen for a week.
35-year-old Lauren Weeks from North Wales, UK, is a white female with long dark blonde hair who went missing on November 10.
According to the police, the 5ft 7in-tall woman was last spotted at Waverley Bridge in Edinburgh, Scotland.
At the time of her disappearance, she was allegedly wearing a grey backpack and black clothes, including a skirt and a windproof jacket.
She was also traveling with a duffle bag and a sleeping bag.“We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace Lauren Weeks, 35, who has been reported missing in Edinburgh,” the Edinburgh Police Division stated.
“There are growing concerns for Lauren who was last seen around 10.40 pm on Tuesday the 10th of November at Waverley Bridge, Edinburgh.
“Lauren is known to travel around the UK and may have traveled to the Glasgow, Kilrmarnock or Fife areas. Lauren is from the North Wales area.”
According to the department’s spokesperson, anyone with information about the 35-year-old’s whereabouts “is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1155 of 12/11/2020.”
“She is believed to be dressed in all black with a high quality windproof jacket, skirt and ankle boots,” the spokesman said.
“She is believed to be carrying a large grey mountaineering style backpack. She is well spoken with an English/ North Welsh accent.”
