Recently, the Eiffel Tower was evacuated and closed to the visitors after the guards spotted a man climbing halfway up to the Tower. The man stayed there for six hours until the emergency team came to grab him.
The tourists who came to see the world famous landmark were told that the Eiffel tower will not re-open until the next day. There were police and fire crews all around the Tower to grab that man who is now in the hands of emergency safety team as the authorities safely pulled him down.
It is horrifying to see that the man was stuck in the same position for six hours as it was really dangerous. A spokesman said that the Tower would stay close to the visitors till next day mostly or till the time there is news about the man.
Police claim that the man is in a dangerous position as he is almost halfway up to the Tower and that’s why they advise people to postpone their visit to the landmark.
There are various photos of the man posted online showing where he is stuck. The whole area around the Eiffel Tower was evacuated and cleared for safety purposes. There was a similar incident which took place in October 2017 when a man was about to commit suicide from the Tower.
There have been multiple issues at this famous landmark, and that’s why the security is rising. There is 300 staff to take care of every issue from pickpocketing to safety issues.
