We all wish we could go back to the days of childhood when life was so much better and all the stress we ever had was of the homework.
The one way to feel young and go back to your childhood days is by playing the games you used to play when you were a child.
This is exactly what this Facebook event group had called people to do as they planned to play hide and seek in the massive furniture store.
A Facebook group had called people to come and play hide and seek at the IKEA store and more than 2000 people on the group marked they were going while 10,000 others said they were interested.
The manager of the store in Braehead, Glasgow, where the event was going to take place said that they would have appreciated the event but this would increase the risk of accidents and disturb the customers in the stress, thus they will never allow such things in the premises because safety of the customers and the employees is their prime motive.
As per the reposts, several people were found hiding in the cupboards, refrigerators, under the beds and where ever they can find a place in.
Police was then called at the store to help the employees to take control of the situation. Soon the police came and started restricting people from entering the store. The same was then updated on the Facebook group too by the admin of the group.
A spokesperson from the Scotland police confirmed that 5 policemen were sent to take control over the situation who then abandoned the game.
Well, this was not the first time such an unofficial event was planned by the public as the same had happened before in the Netherlands and Czech Republic too. The first of this event was conducted back in 2014 and since have been conducted several times in various stores unofficially by the public.
