The police have shared drawings made by six-year-old kids in an attempt to catch a hit-and-run suspect involved in an incident witnessed by several children.
The case takes place in Hamm, Germany, where a suspect, who is believed to be a blonde woman with short hair, reportedly slammed into a barrier near Overberg School in Bockum-H Hövel before fleeing the scene.
Witnessing the event were four 6-year-old kids including Luis, Celina, Romy, and Luisa who were on their way to their school at the time of the incident.
Following the car crash, the children reported the accident at their school, prompting their teacher to call the police. While waiting for the authorities to arrive, the little detectives also contributed to solving the case by making drawings of what had happened at the crash site.
As seen in the photos provided by the kids, the 6-year-olds did their best to put what they recalled on the paper.
In one drawing, which was made by Celina, a suspect is seen slamming into the barrier with her car while driving towards a traffic light as children are watching by the side of the road.
In another drawing, which was made by Luis, a witness is seen pointing a gun at a black, potato-like car with an angry person inside. Since there were no reports of any guns involved in the incident, the firearm becoming a part of Luis’ drawing was likely a result of the 6-year-old’s wild imagination.
After the police received the photos, they thanked the children for their efforts and claimed that the 6-year-olds “deserve special praise.”
