If the latest report is anything to go by, the news speaks of a cop!
The cop who is still in the job is reported to have been charged or suspended after the emergence of a video of him stoning wombat, a burrowing Australian plant-eating marsupial, to death!
The police community officer from South Australia, Waylon Johncock, is currently under investigation due to the disturbing footage, the sources claim.
According to the news, this former AFL player also was widely condemned by the Indigenous elders! Additionally, over 300,000 folks have even signed petition which calls for taking legal actions against him.
On the news, SA cop confirmed that Johncock hadn’t been placed on the leave. Additionally, the cop also reported that Johncock was working on investigations!
A couple of Aboriginal groups also argued that he has been exercising traditional hunting rights. In fact, he was claimed to do nothing disturbing or wrong. However, reports also claim that other elders even slammed him!
The social media page of SA Police got bombarded with comments seeking an update on this investigation. From dozens of comments, one wrote that the world is waiting for justice.
It also read that this individual should not be given any sort of charging or sacking! Another comment spoke of how eagerly the audiences are waiting to get a promising answer!
The Indigenous folks in South Australia have killed the wombats traditionally with rocks. Jack Johncock stated that this particular right should be preserved.
Nevertheless, Major Sumner stated that the actions of the officer in stoning the animal hysterically were very ‘wrong’ and disrespectful.
The footage also showed Johncock throwing rocks repeatedly at the head of this gentle animal on Eyre Peninsula. Since everyone is waiting for a positive answer, here’s waiting with fingers’ crossed!
