When you’re off having a good time with your family, you rarely think about work.
For some people, however, it’s difficult to completely separate your life from work – especially those who work for the people like police officers or firefighters.
A police officer who asked to remain anonymous was enjoying his day off with his wife, when he noticed something strange.
There was a two-year-old walking by herself, and the couple instantly knew that something wasn’t right. So, he and his wife decided to stop the car to find out what’s going on.
When asked, the child said that she was walking to school because her mom was asleep. She said that her mom wouldn’t wake up.

That just didn’t seem right, so the officer asked the little girl if she could take him to her house. He added that he’d take her to school once he visited her mom.
And when the couple arrived to the child’s house, he knew that his instincts were right. The girl’s mother wasn’t asleep; it turned out that she had died.
The officer quickly called the officials, who arrived and removed the mother’s body and sought proper care for the child.
