It was a magnificent sight for all the residents to see the police officers dancing with such enthusiasm and also a lot of residents joined them.
It happened for the second time in a week as the police in Philadelphia are trying to form a relationship with the people they have sworn to protect.
There were community event announcements about how these little efforts to form a relationship is praised by all the residents and people around.
When the officer Nur Ali Baukman was leading the event, a few people who were passing by joined in the dance.
Brandon Chastang who is born and brought up in West Philadelphia said that it was such a different scenario during the event as the police officers seemed like amazing guys and how wrong we were to have a false impression about them.
Capt. Matthew Gillespie said that these events would be happening from noon to 2 p.m. or from 4 to 6 p.m. every Friday during summertime.
The only reason these events are happening is to cover up the gap between the community and the officers as it is essential for having a healthy environment around in the city.
Nur Ali Baukman sang six songs which were connected with the speaker from his phone, and it was terrific.
The passersby were happy to see this initiative taken by the police officers to fill up the gap with the community.
Seeing all this a small six years old child said that he wants to become a police officer when he grows up. The events are holding up significant effect amongst the people.
