Since the last thirteen years, the police officers have joined in the moment of Canadian Cancer Society to help in researching for the solutions.

The campaign helps in raising awareness amongst the people by making them understand the battles local children go through while struggling with cancer.

It also helps in raising funds for cancer research. During the year 2005, the same campaign raised around 5 million dollars in Durham and Peterborough for cancer research.

The most fantastic thing about this campaign is that it helps you in bonding with the kids who are battling with cancer. Recently, the cops team up with all the kids to raise money for the fund.

The kids start connecting with the police after seeing how helpful they are towards cancer awareness amongst everyone.

This year’s campaign which included Pedal for Hope cycling tour has come out to be an even more significant success than others and officers made their visit to 50 different schools.

Various fun events will take place during the assemblies’ life presentations, education, and head-shaving events in which the teachers and officers will participate.

It is inspiring to see how the students and officers came out as a team to support the cause and raise money for the cancer research fund.

The best part about the campaign was that the students were able to learn how easily with small acts they can make a big difference in other people’s life.
