33-year-old Heidi Broussard and her 2-week-old baby, Margot, have disappeared without a trace after she dropped off her son at a school in Texas, according to reports.
Broussard and her infant were last seen when she dropped off her son at Cowan Elementary School.
According to a missing person’s report, both were at the school around 7:30 am.
A photo shared by police shows Broussard dressed in a violet shirt while she was at the school only 20 minutes later.
Police said in the missing person’s report: “Heidi and Margot are believed to have returned to their residence near West William Cannon and South First Street, but have not been seen or heard from since.”
Broussard’s fiancée and father of her children, Shane Carey, said to KVUE that the mother and child’s belongings, and also her vehicle, were all left behind.
He told the news outlet: “I don’t know why anybody would ever harm or touch these two beautiful women together.”
“She is an amazing person,” he added. “She has amazing support, friends behind her. She’s so personable – one of the best people I’ve ever met, so kind, and she does anything for her kids – one of the best moms.”
The heartbroken father said he went to work at around 8am that morning and that was ‘the last time I talked to her.’
Carey also told KEYE: “If you see an awesome mom with a baby walking around or in a suspicious van or car or anything, please just somebody call.”
In an interview with the news outlet, the emotional father pleaded for his partner to ‘come home.’
“I love you. Just please come home. We miss you,” he expressed.
