We know how bizarre a cat can be and how they live their lives on their terms all the time.
It is not the owner’s choice to choose the time to be around their pet cat; it is the other way round. Every time! They are not to take permission; they grant permission. They chose their time of getting or giving affection irrespective of what their human is into at the moment, even if it is a TV interview.

A Polish scholar, Dr. Jerzy Targalski, was speaking about Poland’s Supreme Court crisis during an interview to a Dutch current affairs show on NTR. The country’s government decided to reduce the age of retirement from 70 to 65, which is, bringing them jolts of public’s disagreement over the decision. The decision interprets to about 40% of the judge’s face being booted out.
Targalski’s ginger cat, Lisio, who was resting on the table next to him suddenly, decided that he needs affection and without any delay, it climbed on its human. The fun part begins when Targalski gave no reaction but swiped her tail away from in front of his eyes and continued speaking about the crises. The scene, for obvious reasons, did not make it to the final interview, but the journalist, Rudy Bouma, who was in conversation with Targalski posted it up on twitter.
